I’m Julia, the heart behind Needle Nest. My hands are often busy crafting unique handcrafted scarves, handmade bags, and artisan hats, but my soul remains deeply connected to animals in need of warmth and love.
It all started with Snowball, a fragile stray kitten who forever changed my life. Her memory sparked a mission close to my heart—to help vulnerable animals while sharing stories of love through my handmade creations. From handwoven scarves to custom handmade accessories, every stitch tells a tale of compassion and care.
More Than Handmade Fashion
Over the years, this mission has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. Needle Nest is no longer just about creating handmade knit hats or cozy blankets; it’s about giving back. I vowed to carry Snowball’s legacy forward, rescuing and protecting animals in every way I could. Through my handmade fashion work and your support, I donate a portion of my income to the ASPCA—an organization tirelessly working to rescue, shelter, and care for animals nationwide.
To me, each donation feels like a stitch in a handcrafted wool scarf—a collective effort of warmth reaching animals who need it most. It means food for the hungry, shelter for the abandoned, and hope for the helpless. When I receive thank-you notes from the ASPCA, I’m reminded of the promise I made to Snowball: to do my part for those who cannot ask for help.
